The DONN® DXW Ceiling Suspension System
The DONN® DXW Ceiling Suspension System is an exposed grid system that features a bold 1-1/2" face for ceilings requiring clear, strong modular definition, the perfect design alternative for high bay areas and large panel modules. Its hot-dipped, galvanized steel body inhibits rust.With all the design and installation advantages of the DX® system, The DONN® DXW Ceilings Suspension System, featuring a bold 1-1/2” face, adds an aesthetic alternative for larger scale installations and high ceilings. It provides the load carrying capacity needed for acoustical panels, light fixtures, and HVAC components.
Grid components are connected with plug-in positive-lock insertion. Patented QUICK-RELEASE™ cross tees are easy to remove without tools, decreasing renovation costs. Standard cross tees have offset, override ends that rest on main tees for better appearance without sagging or twisting. They cantilever during installation without dropping out. Special corrosion proof locking tee ends provide pull-out tension values in excess of 200 lbs. Main tees are punched with cross tee holes and hanger wire holes at 6" o.c. with convenience holes at 2" o.c., providing for maximum installation flexibility.
Its design flexibility helps meet life safety codes, and it meets or exceeds all national code requirements, including seismic, and load compliance specifications per ASTM C635.
